The SmartTag is a pressure sensitive label with a very thin RFID tag embedded in it. This allows the variable data to be encoded into the tag at the same time the barcode and human readable text is printed. Today's printer/encoders do this in one step. Rely on SmartTags that:
- Combine the most current Ultra-high Frequency (UHF) and High Frequency (HF) RFID inlay technologies.
- Offer a variety of printable face sheet materials and adhesives.
- Allow for custom printing on a broad selection of RFID labels, tags and tickets for compliance labeling of cases, pallets and traveler form labels.
- Comply with DoD MIL-STD-129.

What you will need to know when you call for pricing or to place your order:
- What brand printer will you be using to print your labels: Datamax, Zebra, Sato, Intermec? This determines maximum roll capacity, wind direction and ribbon selection.
- Will labels be exposed to any harsh environments (heat, moisture, chemicals, or outdoor elements)?
- Do you know what material you will need for your labels?
- Do you need Standard/Permanent (most applications), Aggressive or Removable Adhesive?
